A warm, light-to-medium brown, with a midweight drape that suits both structured and relaxed makes. Genuinely versatile — the kind of colour you reach for when you want something that won't compete with anything else you own.

A note from the studio: unlike the European Laundered Linens, this fabric hasn't been pre-washed at the mill, so it arrives with a crisper hand — genuinely lovely to cut and press with. It'll soften with every wash and wear, the way all good linen does, so give it time to relax into itself. Linen also seizes up a little after its first wash — that's normal too.

Beautiful for: a relaxed shirt or trouser for everyday wear, a simple dress that leans on colour rather than pattern, or a considered lining for a jacket.

This fabric will soften as it is washed and worn

If using this fabric for curtains, it is recommended to use a lining to prevent fading

Wash at 30 degrees with non bio detergent.

Line dry out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.

Do not tumble dry.

Linen does seize up after washing – the fibres will relax again as the fabric is worn.

• Fabric pricing is for 0.25m fabric (1 quantity = 0.25m)
• You can order in 0.25m increments (i.e. 4 quantities = 1m x width of fabric)
• Orders of 0.5m (2 quantities) or more will be cut as one continuous length
• Orders of 0.25m (1 quantity) will be cut across the full width of fabric (25cm x fabric width) 
• As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project
